Home made pani puri receipe(Bengali style fuchka)

Fuchka is a version of pani puri and famous Bengali mouth-watering street food.It is spicy tangy street food and loved by all generations through India.Spicy tamarind water in fuchka that makes it so delicious.

Ingredients -
For fillings
  • 2 medium size potato.
  • 1/2 cup dry chickpeas boiled.
  • 1 tsp masala( roasted cumin and dry chillis and then grind it ).
  • 1 tsp salt.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice.
  • 1 tbsp choped coriander leaves
For pani-
  • 1/2 cup tamarind.
  • 2 cup water.
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
  • few lemon(cutting in round shape).
  • 1 tbsp roasted cumin and chili powder.
  • 1 tsp salt.
  • Chat masala(optional).
For puri-
  • suji 1/2 cup.
  • maida 1/2 cup.
  • 1 tsp baking soda.
  • salt 
How to make Panipuri

For filling:

  • firstly, in a large bowl mash the boiled potatoes.
  • Now add boiled chickpeas in it.
  • also add  roasted cumin powder, chili powder, and salt.
  • mix well and mash completely.
  • Now add 1tsp lemon juice and chopped coriander in it.
  • finally, filling is ready for stuffing.

For pani:

  • Add 2 cup water and add salt and roasted masala on it.
  • then add tamarind juice.
  • also add lemon and coriander leave.
  • give a good mix and keep it in a side.

For puri:

1.Take 1/2 cup suzi and 1/2 cup maida in a bowl.
2.Add baking soda and salt .
3.Now make a sought dough and keep it aside for minimum 30 minutes.
4.Now heat oil in a pan .
5.Make small puri from it and fry it nicely.
6.After that  you can dry this puri  in oven or sun-light to make it more crunchy.(Optional)

Note-You can also use ready made puri from market .

finally, serve pani puri along with copped onions.
